What our lab Offers

Custom 3D Printing
Functional FDM printing for custom parts, organizers, holders, adapters, replacement pieces, and short-run production.

Rapid Prototyping
Move quickly from concept to test-fit part. Ideal for early validation, iteration rounds, one-off fixes, and practical proof-of-concept work.

Production Designs
Design cleanup, fit refinement, material guidance, and print-ready preparation for repeatable production.
Good fit for the lab
Our Lab is a strong fit for projects that need practical problem-solving, custom fit, or small-batch production.

What We Make
Most projects fall into a few practical categories. If your idea is close to one of these, we can likely help.

Mounts, brackets, and holders
Parts that secure, guide, or support gear in a cleaner and more useful way.

Organizers and workflow tools
Desk, kitchen, garage, workshop, and field-friendly parts that reduce friction and clutter.

REPLACEMENT Parts and adapters
Hard-to-find pieces, fit-specific connectors, spacers, clips, and custom fixes.

Prototype parts and short runs
Early-stage models, test-fit parts, and small-batch products for validation or launch prep.
How The Lab Process Works
Working with KCV Labs is straightforward. Share the need, review the options, approve the scope, and we handle the build.
Share Your Idea
Send a file, sketch, reference photo, measurements, or a simple explanation of the problem you are trying to solve.
Review & Quote
We review the use case, fit, material, quantity, finish, and timeline, then send a clear quote with next steps.
Print & Refine
We produce the part, inspect it, and handle standard cleanup or finishing as needed.
Deliver
Pick up locally or have it shipped.
Materials & Capabilities
We choose materials and print methods based on the demands of the job, not a one-material-for-everything mindset.
PLA and PETG
Great for many organizers, holders, setup accessories, and general-use functional parts where clean output and practical performance matter.
ABS & tougher options
Better for parts that need more heat resistance, durability, or stronger performance in workshop and utility settings.
Design support
We can help clean up files, adjust fit, build parametric models, and prepare parts for more repeatable production.
To keep quality high and lead times realistic, KCV Labs currently focuses on functional FDM printing and design-for-print support.

KCV Labs FAQs
Pricing depends on the part size, print time, material, design complexity, cleanup needs, quantity, and whether file preparation or iteration is required. Small straightforward parts may be simple to quote, while custom or multi-step projects may require review first.
The best starting point is any combination of dimensions, photos, reference links, sketches, existing files, or a short explanation of what the part needs to do. Clear measurements and photos usually make quoting faster and more accurate.
STL, STEP, OBJ, and other common 3D file types are welcome. If you do not have a finished model yet, you can also start with measurements, a sketch, a reference photo, or a simple explanation of what the part needs to do.
Yes. Many projects begin with an idea, a broken part, a fit problem, or a rough concept. We can help determine whether the job needs design work, file cleanup, or direct printing.
No. We handle one-off parts, prototype rounds, and small-batch runs. The right scope depends on the job and how repeatable the part needs to be.
Many projects start with materials such as PLA, PETG, or tougher-use options, depending on fit, strength, heat exposure, finish, and where the part will be used.
Turnaround depends on complexity, material, revisions, and quantity. We usually review new requests and respond with next steps, scope guidance, or a quote within 1 to 2 business days.
That is common with prototype and fit-check work. If a first version needs revision, we can refine the design and improve the next round.
Yes. Depending on the project, parts can be picked up locally in the South Bay or shipped within the U.S.
No. KCV Labs currently focuses on functional FDM printing and practical product development work.
